Weekly Virtue: Industry

Industry. Lose no time; be always employ’d in something useful; cut off all unnecessary actions.

Need to cut down on the internet a bit more (no surprise there), but I’ve had appointments and deadlines fast and furious lately, and met them all. Two revisions of the storytelling schedule bookmarks. Learned two stories and repolished three more. Schmoozefest, two dance shows for daughter, everyone’s hair appointments (they all end up on the same week), son’s math contest, income tax, host meeting, keep house clean, sign insurance forms to change payment, perform twice. So, es, I’d say I managed that quite well the last two weeks. The next two weeks would be challenging, as I have few hard deadlines during them, but need to work on some large ones later in the month.

The new datebook is still keeping my heart-rate down, but I need to be more realistic in what I can do each day.

Next week: Sincerity. Use no hurtful deceit; think innocently and justly, and, if you speak, speak accordingly.
